Robert & Colin Benoit – The Huron Carol

Robert Benoit plays guitars and his son, Colin Benoit, plays the jambe drum and bells on the Canadian Christmas song, The Huron Carol. A Jesuit missionary, Jean de Brebeuf, wrote the song in 1643 in the native language of the Huron people, borrowing the tune from a French folk song. English lyrics for the song were written in 1926 by Jesse Edgar Middleton.Visit www.robertbenoit.net to buy the cd – Christmas Instrumentals- Robert & Colin Benoit.
